Way too much censorship and surveillance, and enormously cumbersome. Takes up a huge amount of space on the phone. Steadily getting worse and worse.
NON CHINESE FRIENDLY APP. I used to study in China so I use Wechat and Wechat wallet often because it is very convenient. I am currently staying in Malaysia but still need to use this app for some reasons. It was a nice app until they decided to add the "IDENTITY VERIFICATION" thing. Today I used a new phone to login to my account but it says my account is frozen. Can't login no matter what and I still have 1000+rmb in Wechat wallet. Customer service is NON RESPONSIVE too.
